The past twelve months have been quite the adventure for @genixdj. Between the birth of his first child and the release of his second album ‘YOU.ME.NOW’, Damo not only headlined his own tour, but accompanied us at various label showcases, including our Anjuna25 celebrations in New York City. Yet somehow, Damo found time to be in the studio. Today’s latest offering, ‘Amnesia’ comes from his own experiences in the famous @amnesiaibiza nightclub during his youth and is a tribute to the nostalgic sounds and music that inhabited the venue. Having been road tested at his numerous shows (and often played out by @aboveandbeyond), ‘Amnesia’ fuses together that nostalgic feeling with Genix’s retro-meets-new sound.
