This month, @proffmusic followed up his beloved ‘American Dream’ edit with another interpretation drawn from cinematic history… ‘Love On A Real Train’ was written in 1984 by German electronic group and soundtrack composers @tangerinedreamq for the film ‘Risky Business’. The film was regarded as a breakout role for a young Tom Cruise, something else shone through the decades: the group’s evocative score. In particular, the track ‘Love On A Real Train’. Pitchfork hailed the spine-tingling composition as one of the greatest tracks of the ‘80s, and clearly other artists agree… Decades later, in 2017, @fatummusic and @judahofficial brought ‘Love On A Real Train’ to Anjunabeats - adding brash basslines and high energy to the track. Eight years later, and leading organic house producer PROFF has brought his signature sound to not one, but two edits. Vlad’s cover of ‘Love On A Real Train’ is out now on Anjunabeats.
