To start the night we had a special performance by the @scottsdalejazzfestival We then has the first ever CleanTech & Sustainability 101 hosted by Kris Saunders and Kaitlyn Fitzgerald. Then Alexander McElfish kicked off Going Live: Building a Financial Model Workshop where he taught how to build a pro forma based on your business and revenue model, how to define assumptions, and how to communicate it. Then we had the Non-Profit Fast Pitch where 7 non-profits got a few minutes to pitch their missions to make Arizona a better place. Last but not least we had Facts and Fiction about ‘America’s Seed Fund’: NSF Grants for Small Businesses where Barbara Timm-Brock talked about everything you need to know to get small business innovation grants.
