Augment — Year 3! Looking back at who we were when we started, there was so much we didn’t know. We’d never filmed a course. Never built a brand. Never hired or managed a team. We were absolutely clueless about so many things and had very little to show for it. It’s almost painful to think how obvious that must’ve been to all our mentors and investors. But I now also realize that we had two traits that made up for all of it: A spirit of enthusiasm and a profound passion for entrepreneurship. Every fiber of our being wanted to get on this journey. We were ready to learn, ready to build, and willing to do just about anything to make it work. It’s 100% energy and enthusiasm that got us there, not skills. The belief that you can just do things. This spirit of enthusiasm is what I cherish most in today’s Augment team, in our instructors, and in the thousands of entrepreneurs in the Augment community. I believe this is not only what helps great companies get started but also what keeps them going over time. So here’s my wish for Augment’s third anniversary: That we never lose this very special energy and our spirit of optimism.
