BMW has announced the new BMW R 12 G/S, inspired by the legendary BMW R 80 G/S. Is this the retro BMW people have been wanting for years? Inspired by the original R 80 G/S, the new BMW R 12 G/S promises to deliver a classic big enduro bike riding experience while benefitting from modern technology. BMW has certainly nailed the look, and the specs look good, too. Key Features: - 1,170 cc air/oil-cooled twin-cylinder boxer engine, 109bhp and 115Nm of torque - The standard model includes a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. The optional Endro package Pro features an 18” rear wheel for improved off-road capabilities. - 860mm seat height as standard. - 210mm/200mm suspension travel front and rear. 240mm ground clearance standard. - 229kg fully fuelled, 15.5L fuel tank - Three riding modes come standard: Road, Rain, and Enduro. The Enduro Pro package also includes an additional Enduro Pro riding mode. - Equipped with dynamic traction control, engine drag torque (MSR) control, and ABS Pro, all as standard features. - Available in three colour options: Light White, Option 716 Aragonite, and Night Black Matt.
